The county's second-largest town totes an 'old New England' colonial aura
New Marlborough is the county's second-largest town in area, right behind Sandisfield. Its 90 miles of roads are sprawled over 48 square miles on a high plateau southeast of Great Barrington, adjoining Connecticut. It has managed to retain much of its "olde New England" colonial ambiance, with many fine older homes and several historic inns dotting the landscape, along with sheep and llama on the few remaining farms.
