Four workshops will be held at the Church Street Center on the campus of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. The workshops are open to area schools at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis. The day will end with a community concert featuring all of the participating artists, at 7:30 p.m., at the Church Street Center , is free and open to the public. Early arrival is suggested because there are no tickets for the event.
Funding for the celebration, which includes a day-long artists in residence program for BArT students on April 2, was provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
BArT students' exploration of the range of story-telling styles in cultures around the world will culminate in a multi-media exhibition of student work scheduled to open on Friday, June 12, at Greylock Arts.
