LOS ANGELES -- Aisha Tyler is a jack of many trades: actress, author, game-show host, talk-show panelist, podcast proprietor.
But there is at least one thing the "Archer" leading lady won't do for a buck.
"Windows," she replied, in a heartbeat ---- joking. Maybe.
Let's race back to "Archer" before it's off the air again. The series -- airing Monday nights at 10 on FX -- finally had its season-five debut Monday. That's a full year after the season-four finale. The FX ‘toon spins around secret agents working for a grossly mismanaged independent intelligence service.
The new "Archer" season is something of a reboot of the show, now also dubbed "Archer Vice," with the service in such a financial mess that the team is forced to turn to crime. Complicating things: Tyler's character, the agency's finest, Lana Kane, is now pregnant.
But Tyler is mum when asked to reveal the daddy.
"I might know who the father is, I can't tell you," she replied. "(But) she didn't get pregnant by accident."
At 43, Tyler and longtime husband, attorney Jeff Tietjens, have no children -- not that they'd have the time. She hosts The CW network's "Whose Line is it Anyway?" a revival of the long-running improvisational game show. Tyler's also the proprietor of the podcast "Girl on Guy," which offers in-depth conversations with artists and also inspired Tyler's recent book, "Self-Inflicted Wounds: Heartwarming Tales of Epic Humiliation."
"I love to work," Tyler noted.
