Gt. Barrington: Chamber to honor law partner
The Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce has named Attorney Edward G. McCormick of Great Barrington as its Business Person of the Year.
The managing partner of the law firm McCormick, Murtagh & Marcus, McCormick has been practicing law since 1971. He specializes in real estate, zoning, business law and estate planning.
The Great Barrington native has also been involved in the community in several emergency categories, including serving as Berkshire County fire coordinator, and deputy fire chief, emergency management coordinator for Egremont, Sheffield and Alford. McCormick is also a former president and director of the Great Barrington Rotary Club.
He will be honored with a reception and tribute from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge.The cost is $50 per person, or $250 for business leaders, which includes two tickets and event recognition. Williamstown: Chamber taps new exec. director
Jennifer Civello has been named executive director of the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce. She replaces Judy Giamborino, who held the position for five years.
Civello, who assumed her new duties last week, is an adjunct instructor at the Massachusetts
A graduate of both Mount Greylock Regional High School and MCLA, Civello also completed her graduate studies at SUNY Empire State College.

Pittsfield: New head for teen parent program
Heather Williamson has been named executive director of the Helen Berube Teen Parent Program, the organization’s board of directors has announced.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Williamson has served as the owner and operator of Tiny Treasures Learning Center, and as an associate director at the Soldier On veterans facility.
