seminars planned

NAK Integrated of Sheffield is holding a free professional development series that consists of three seminars in September and October.

"An Introduction to Integrated Marketing" will take place on Friday, Sept. 21, followed by "The Future: Media Convergence" on Tuesday, Oct. 2; and "Big Data" on Tuesday, Oct. 23.

All three sessions take place from 8 to 9:15 a.m. at the Berkshire South Regional Community Center, 15 Crissey Road.

event is Sept. 12

Advancing Women in the Business of Science & Technology (WEST) will hold its fall kickoff meeting on Wednesday at the Cambridge Innovation Center. The hours are 6 to 9 p.m.

Executive Director Heidi Meisenkothen and board members will provide information about upcoming
programs.

The cost is $15 for members; $25 for nonmembers.

WEST is also holding its first women's executive dinner, "Challenges Facing Women CEO's in the Current Economic Climate," on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge. The hours are 6 to 9 p.m.

The cost is $125 for members; $155 for non-members.
