Sheffield Historical Society Spiritfest

Sunday: ‘The Children,' a scary locally made film, shown at Dewey Hall in Sheffield at 7:30 p.m.

Monday: Pumpkin carving contest at 3 p.m.

Tuesday: Zombie and pumpkin walk 6:30 p.m. to enjoy scarecrows and jack-o-lanterns

Admission: Free for film and pumpkin walk.
For pumpkin carving, $5 per pumpkin.

Stockbridge Library pumpkin walk

When: Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. before the Stockbridge Halloween Parade

The parade begins at 6 p.m. and marches from the corner of Main and Pine streets to the Town Office for cider and doughnuts.

and Friday from 10 a.m. onward
at the Washington Town Hall, 8 Summit Hill Road
