Eggstravaganza Egg Scramble
at Morningside Community School, 100 Burbank St., Pittsfield, rain or shine. 10:30 a.m. for 9-year-olds; 10:40 a.m. for 7 and 8-year-olds; 10:55 a.m. for 5 and 6-year-olds; 11:10 a.m. for 4-year-olds; and 11:25 a.m. for 2 and 3-year-olds. Free and open to all Pittsfield children. Children are required to bring their own baskets; bring a camera for a special appearance by the bunny. Cheshire Elementary School
Children's Easter egg hunt beginning promptly at noon behind the school. Sponsored by the Cheshire Police Association. Open to the public, this event is for toddlers to 10-year-olds. Three separate age groups will hunt for eggs filled with jelly beans or hidden prizes. Prizes include cash, Easter baskets, stuffed animals and gift certificates. New this year is an adult egg hunt with gift certificates and prize baskets.
