Pittsfield: Home care group offers referral help
Mountain View Home Care Inc. is offering a "Household Employee Referral Program," which provides affordable options for home health care.
A household employee is hired to do home health care work, and that person becomes the participant's employee. Participants can control what work is done, and how it is done.

Williamstown: Rotary to honor Henry N. Flynt Jr.
The Rotary Club of Williamstown next week will present a 60 years of service award to Henry N. Flynt Jr., the district governor of District 7890, which oversees 62 clubs.
The award will be presented at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 at the club's regular luncheon meeting at the Williams Inn.

Pittsfield: Foundation gave $1.3M in 2012
PITTSFIELD -- Berkshire Bank's two charitable foundation awarded $1,327,131 in grants to nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and Vermont during 2012. That sum represents a 5 percent increase in charitable donations from 2011.
