N. Adams: BYP social at Greylock Bowl & Golf
The Berkshire Young Professionals will hold a networking social on from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at Greylock Bowl & Golf.
Young professionals who either live or work in Berkshire County are invited to attend.

Williamstown: Session targets entrepreneurs
The Franklin County Community Development Corp. will host a free information session on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at The Log, 78 Spring St., for entrepreneurs looking to start a small business.
The 90-minute session begins at 6 p.m. Information about business planning, the loan process, where to get help, how to launch a food product, and how to use the Western MA Food Processing Center will be discussed.
The U.S. Economic Development Administration awarded a FY2012 Disaster Relief Opportunity grant to the FCCDC with project partners Berkshire Regional Planning Commission (BRPC) and the Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG). The goals are to support small businesses and entrepreneurs that are investing in their businesses and creating jobs. The project will also build collaboration among the business community and business assistance service providers in northern Berkshire and Franklin counties.

Great Barrington: Farm-to-table feast planned
Fire Roasted Catering, sister company to meat butcher shop and cafe The Meat Market, will host a farm-to-table feast on Saturday, Oct. 12.
The al fresco event will take place along the banks of the Housatonic River in Great Barrington adjacent to The Meat Market. Ingredients for the meal will be sourced from local farms.
The 200-person event includes a robust feast served familystyle followed by live music in an outdoor tent at 4 p.m.
Tickets are $40 per person. Children under 15 pay their age. A $15 ticket is available for admission at 6:45 p.m. for the after-dinner show and desserts. A cash bar will be available.
