Pittsfield: Aspen Dental opens office in city

Aspen Dental will be opening an office in Pittsfield today.

Located at 690 Merrill Road, the practice will provide dental services that range from dentures and preventive care to general dentistry and restoration.

Reetane Singh, the lead dentist at the Pittsfield office, received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry in 2012.

The Pittsfield office is Aspen Dental’s 29th branded location in Massachusetts, where 64 percent of the state’s 13 counties have dental health professional shortage areas as designated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Pittsfield: Chamber to hold Holiday Nite

The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce will hold its Holiday Chamber Nite on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at the MountainOne Financial Center at 111 Silver Lake Boulevard.

Pittsfield: Chain raises $530K for Boys & Girls

The Woburn-based NInety Nine Restaurant & Pub chain raised more than $530,000 for almost 70 chapters of the Boys & Girls Club in New England and New York during its October fundraiser.

The chain set another companywide fundraising record in the 17th year it has held the event. Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub currently opeates 105 restaurants throughout New England and upstate New York, including one in Pittsfield.

Springfield: College offers EMT training
