Marcotte appointed
at Berk. Money Mgmt.

Windsor native Zachary Marcotte has been named an associate investment advisor representative at Berkshire Money Management, the firm has announced.

The 24-year-old Marcotte has worked at Berkshire Money Management since December 2007, and has served as the firm’s compliance officer since 2012.

He is completing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams. He earned an associate degree in business administration from Berkshire Community College in 2010.

Young Professionals to hold networking social

The Berkshire Young Professionals will hold a Networking Social on Thursday at Bousquet Ski Area.

Networking takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. All young professionals either living or working in Berkshire County are invited.

BYP cardholders can take advantage of $10 prices on lifts, tubing and rentals from 3 to 9:30 p.m.

Admission is free for BYP membership cardholders, and $5 for non-members.

Farmers market taking vendor applications

The Downtown Pittsfield Farmers Market is seeking applications for vendors to sell locally grown and produced food and related projects in 2014.

The market, located in the First Street parking lot opposite the Common, will take place on Saturdays this year from May 10 through Oct. 25. The hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Early-bird rates to returning vendors are available if they have applied, accepted and paid by March 15. All other applications are due by April 15. Full season, half season and day rates are available. Booths are approximately 10-feet-by-10-feet. Vendors must provide their own set-up (tents, tables, etc.)
