Pittsfield: Chamber CEO to speak at Zonta
June Roy Martin, the interim president and CEO of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, will speak when the Zonta Club of Berkshire County meets Monday at Mazzeo’s Ristorante, 1015 South St. The meeting will include a brief networking period, a business meeting, the speaking program, then dinner. Networking begins at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:30. Zonta International is a worldwide service organization working to advance the status of women. Berkshires: Senior vice president named at EBS
A member of the Berkshire County Collectors and Treasurers Association has been named senior vice president of Easthampton Savings Bank’s EBS Government Banking Division. Paul J. Mokrzecki will be responsible for alll facets of muncipal depository and lending actvities. Prior to joining EBS, Mokrzecki spent 14 years as senior vice president of government banking at People’s United Bank, formerly the Bank of Western Mass. A resident of Hadley, Mokrzecki holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
Berkshires: Energy Collaborative launched
MassDevelopment and EarlyBird Power have launched the Massachusetts Manufacturing Energy Collaborative, an affordable energy program for state manufacturers. The buying group of manufacturers saves money by purchasing energy supply in bulk and includes free energy efficiency and renewable energy reviews.
