State gas prices rise three cents from last week
Gasoline prices in Massachusetts rose three cents from last week due to supply disruptions in oil producing countries, according to AAA Northeast.
AAA's survey of state gas prices Monday found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.09 per gallon, two cents less than a month ago, and 13 cents less than the national average.
A year ago a this time the state's average price was 87 cents higher at $2.96. The range in prices in the later AAA survey for unleaded regular is 55 cents, from a low of $1.94 to a high of $2.49.
Police Chief to speak at Rental Board meeting next week
Pittsfield Police Chief Michael Wynn will speak when the Rental Housing Association of Berkshire County holds its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Zucchini's Restaurant.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. An optional dinner for $20 will take place at 6:30.
Wynn will discuss community issues that are pertinent to property owners and landlords.

Chamber Nite event at Downswings Indoor Golf
The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly Chamber Nite event on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at Downswings Indoor Golf Center, 10 Lyman St.
The hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Admission is free to Berkshire Chamber members and their families.
