Adams Community Bank fundraisers for cancer organizations
The Adams Community Bank will hold be holding three fundraisers for two local cancer organizations — Moments House and PopCares Inc.
The bank will host a corn hole tournament on Friday, April 1 at the Cheshire Rod & Gun Club, a Mexican Fiesta Night on Friday, April 29 at the Richmond Grille at the Holiday Inn in North Adams, and a golf tournament on Saturday, May 7 at Stamford Valley Golf Course in Stamford, Vt.
The cornhole tournament begins at 6 p.m. The cost is $25 per two person team. The cost for Mexican Fiesta night is also $25.
Hilltowns forming solar partnership
The towns of Windsor, Cummington, Worthington and Goshen are in the planning stages of forming a partnership to apply for a Solarize Mass grant.
Solarize Mass is a group-purchasing program that results in savings of about 20 percent below the statewide average for solar photovoltaic (PV) installations. Businesses, homeowners, and non profits are eligible for the discounts.

Greylock board elects officers at annual meeting
The Greylock Federal Credit Union's Board of Directors elected officers at its annual meeting March 22 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Gerard E. Burke was elected chairman of the board; Ann D. Deely, vice chairman; Stanley B. Walczyk, clerk/treasurer; and JamieEllen Moncecchi, assistant clerk/recording officer.
Joint economic development initiative formed
The Baystate Business Link, a regional economic development initiative has been formed to bring together business leaders from Boston and Western Massachusetts.
The partnership is designed to encourage business-to-business collaboration across all regions of the commonwealth and identify opportunities for small and new business to connect with established companies.
The initiative is being led by The Western Mass. Economic Development Council, MassChallenge Boston and the Massachusetts Manufacturing Partnership, among others.
