DALTON >> Tonio Palmer of Tyringham, Gabriella Sheehan of Pittsfield and Peter Nugent and Michelle Murphy of Lanesborough finished first through third, respectively, in the second of 1Berkshire's three pitch competitions at the Stationary Factory.

Palmer received the first place prize of $1,000 for the product, Wizzy Wrap, an innovative and elegant way to wrap gifts with fabric or other reusable materials.

Sheehan received the $300 second place prize for her business, Happimess, which offers art/crafting classes for working parents to connect with their children and other parents in an educational environment using new and recycled materials, focusing on developmental skills based on age and free from technology.

Third place and $100 was awarded to Nugent and Murphy for their business, Droniez Aerial, the only FAA-approved drone photography and videography business in the Berkshires.

Five entreprenuers presented their business plans before a panel of judges made up of local business leaders.
