Maschino, Solak promoted to VPs at Greylock
Janine Maschino has been promoted to vice president, manager of IS Operations, and Mark Solak to vice president, manager of consumer lending at the Greylock Federal Credit Union, according to Greylock's Board of Directors.
Maschino has been with Greylock for eight years. In addition to overseeing the credit union's technical support operations, Maschino manages Greylock's disaster recovery, business continuity, vendor management and IT Compliance programs. Prior to joining Greylock, she spent 30 years working with other Berkshire County financial institutions.
Solak joined Greylock 10 years ago in branch management. His new responsibilities include the expansion of Greylock's New Road Loan program, due diligence on a new student lending program as well as loan profitability and department efficiency. Prior to joining Greylock Solak spent more the 25 years with other Berkshire County financial institutions.
Berkshire Farm Center names new CEO
Jim Dennis has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Berkshire Farm Center, according to the board of directors of the state-wide youth services agency.
Dennis, who has been at Berkshire Farm for 30 years, had served as interim CEO since Timothy Giacchetta retired on Nov. 2. He officially assumed his new position on April 18.
Dennis started with Berkshire Farm in 1985 and rose through the ranks to become chief program officer, the position he held when he was named interim CEO.
Dennis holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Empire State College and a master's degree in educational counseling from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
Succession planning for business owners
The Franklin County CDC will hold a workshop on succession planning for business owners on Thursday, May 5 at Cloud85.
A similar event will take place at the Franklin County CDC in Greenfield on Thursday, May 12. The hours for both events are 5-7 p.m.
