Vendors sought for Discover Tyler Street event in August

The Tyler Street Business Group is seeking artisans, vendors, small businesses and nonprofits to participate in the "Discover Tyler Street — A Local Cultural Festival" event on Aug. 25.

The annual event, open to all, will feature live music and enter will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on the corner of Tyler Street and Woodlawn Avenue.

This year's theme is "Celebrating the Future of Arts, Food & Innovation."

Vendor and sponsor forms are available at TylerStreetPittsfield.com/disovertyler/. Registrations must be received by July 15 to have businesses listed on the event poster.

Fairview announces annual recognition awards

The winners and nominees for Fairview Hospital's five annual recognition awards were announced recently at Fairview's Annual Employee Recognition Dinner.

The winners and their categories include: Coach of the Year, Suzanne Arre, admitting; Above and Beyond, Cheryl Thomson, advocacy for access; Rookie of the Year, Pam Gauthier, emergency services; and Teammate of the Year, Deb Casey, admitting. Health Information Management Services received the President's Diamond Award for team excellence.
