Employee confidence weakens in June, AIM Index indicates
A month of economic uncertainty punctuated by weak U.S. job growth and the United Kingdom's impending exit from the European Union drove Massachusetts employer confidence lower in June.
The Associated Industries of Massachusetts Business Confidence Index fell 1.6 points to 56.1.
At the same time, the confidence reading remained comfortably over the 50 mark that denotes an overall positive economic outlook.
Taken quarterly, confidence rose from 55.8 during the first three months of the year to 56.7 during April, May and June.
Berkshire County Arc opens 10th brain injury residence
Berkshire County Arc has opened its 10th residence for individuals with brain injuries this week.
Edgewood is located in Southwick. It is the fifth of Berkshire County Arc's 10 residences that is funded through an Acquired Brain Injury Waiver through the Department of Developmental Services.

Prices are now a flat $10 per program with 50 percent off for children ages 5-16. Children under 4 will be admitted free with an adult.
