MadJacks to close then re-open on seasonal basis

MadJacks Restaurant is closing this weekend, but will re-open in the spring and be open through next summer. The eatery will operate on a seasonal schedule going forward.

In a statement on the restaurant's Facebook page, owner Jabari Powell said he is closing the eatery, which was originally located in Pittsfield, in order to spend more time with his family, coaching sports teams, attending weekend events and "all the fun stuff that comes with having young kids."

"We wanted to thank all of our loyal customers and all of our new fans for a great summer both at our restaurant in Lanesborough and also at the Tanglewood food pavilion," Powell stated.
