Workshop on CSL licensing exam prep begins on Oct. 12
The Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Western Massachusetts is sponsoring a six session course to help individuals prepare for the Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's Licensing Exam.
Sessions will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on six Wednesdays beginning Oct. 12 at the Home Builders & Remodelers Association headquarters at 240 Cadwell Drive in Springfield.
The fee is $250 for association members, and $350 for non-members. Enrollment is limited.

Dr. McCallister joins BMC physiatry staffers
Dr. Adrienne McCallister, a specialist in osteopathic manipulative medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine, has been appointed to the medical staff of Berkshire Medical Center and the physician staff of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Services of BMC.
McCallister received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and completed her residency in osteopathic manipulative medicine and neuromuculoskeletal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. N.Y.
DPL levies record monetary settlement against school
The state Division of Professional Licensure has taken disciplinary action against Premier Education Group LP, which includes a record settlement of $150,000.
The disciplinary agreement resolves allegations that Premier, which does business as The Salter School, engaged in misleading actions and employed unapproved instructors at its four Massachusetts locations.
The Salter School offers training programs to prepare individuals for careers as medical assistants, health claims specialists, and license massage therapists. Its four state campuses are located in Fall River, Malden, New Bedford and Tewksbury.
