HINSDALE -- A local man faces possible legal action following a one-vehicle crash in the town over the weekend.
While the cause of the accident remains under investigation, Hinsdale police said charges are pending against the man in his late 50's, whom they didn't identify.
The driver was traveling alone on Ashmere Road near the Route 8 intersection just after 9 p.m. on Friday, when he lost control of his Ford F-150 pick up. The truck rolled over on its passenger side, trapping the driver, said officer Nancy Daniels.
Hinsdale emergency rescuers had to cut open the roof in order to extricate the man -- who wasn't wearing a seat belt. Once freed, the driver who was transported to Berkshire Medical Center where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
"He's a very lucky man," said Daniels.
