PITTSFIELD -- Classic country and western, classic blues, classic rock and roll.
The four winners in the fan voting for Guitar Jam IV have ensured that May 19 at the Colonial Theatre will be a classic evening.
The top four vote-getters in The Eagle's Facebook poll are Who tribute band Who Are You with 994 votes, country and western standouts Spurs USA (892), and the blues tandem of T-Bone Daddy (793) and the Arthur Holmes Blues Band (741).
Each of the 10 local bands in the poll easily topped 100 votes in the two rounds of Facebook voting. A total of 5,096 fans voted.
"We're thrilled and excited," said Garrett Lechowski, singer and guitarist for top vote-getter Who Are You. "We think this will be a great time."
"I'm thrilled and honored," said Dona Fed erico, lead singer for Spurs USA. "We can't wait. This is such a great event. Congratu lations to Who Are You. They're a great band."
Tyler Fairbank, lead singer and guitarist for T-Bone Daddy, also was celebrating.
"Wow," he said. "That is very cool. We are really looking forward to this."
"How cool is that?" said Arthur Holmes, leader of the Arthur Holmes Blues Band. "We're looking forward to playing with these other bands."
Each band will play a 25-minute set, then will participate in the annual encore jam, which has become one of the highlights of the show.
