PITTSFIELD -- A faulty underground cable is to blame for a lengthy power outage at a mobile home park on Sunday.
Western Massachusetts Elec tric Company reports its service to Lake Onota Village went off line around 3 a.m. due to a buried electrical utility line on Lakewood Drive, according to WMECO officials. By 4:30 p.m., power was restored to the 132 WMECO customers affected by the outage, but what caused the problem is unknown, WMECO officials said.
