Aides for U.S. Sen. John Kerry will be in Becket and Otis on Thursday to discuss local issues, offer assistance on individual cases, and answer questions.

"It's not always easy for folks across Massachusetts to make it to my Boston office when they're looking for answers, so we're continuing our travels across the state to help out everyone we can in any way we can," Kerry said in a statement released today. "Whether it's providing additional resources, answering questions, or putting folks in touch with federal agencies -- we'll be there to listen and help."

The staffers will be available to meet one-on-one at Becket Town Hall, 557 Main St., on Thursday from 10:30 to noon, and at Otis Town Hall, 1 N. Main St., from 1-2:30 p.m.

Holding these so-called "office hours" has been a Kerry constituent service initiative for a number of years. Future schedules will be available at kerry.senate.gov.
