The fifth annual Berktoberfest will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 6, from noon to 6 p.m. in the McKay Street parking lot in downtown Pittsfield.
Berktoberfest is a non-profit event with proceeds benefiting Berkshire Brewing Heritage, an educational organization preserving the craft of brewing and real beer in the Berkshires and beyond.
The event highlights the fine crafted beers of New England as well as fare from area restaurants.
Participating restaurants include Brix, Flavours, Baba Louie's, Mad Jack's, and more. Entertainment will be provided by the bands Jill Gallagher and Hi8us.
New this year are trophies for The Best of Berktoberfest. First, second and third place prizes will be chosen by attendees.
General admission is $25 at the door or $20 pre-sale tickets, which includes one sample mug, 10 beer tokens, and one ballot for the best in Berktoberfest.
