DALTON -- Nick Montferret and Kevin Boino each had three points to lead Wahconah to a 5-0 victory over Lenox on Wednesday.

Montferret got the Warriors on the board in the 18th minute after Lenox had some early chances to score. His goal was set up by Boino, who scored himself off a Montferret assist 16 minutes later. Jeff Pullano made it 3-0 11 minutes into the second half before Montferret set up Boino again. Eric Klem added a goal with a minute left.

"Definitely a big win," said Wahconah coach John Kovacs. "The score is not indicative of the whole game. ... The second part of the first half we got going. Once we scored it gave us momentum."

The Warriors have another big North division battle on Friday when they travel to Monument Mountain on Friday. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
