SOUTHWICK -- Wahconah’s boys soccer team fell behind early and, despite Curran Doyle’s first varsity goal, couldn’t rally on the road in a 3-1 loss to Southwick.

Dillan Davignon had a hat trick for the hosts, including two goals in the first 10 minutes. The Warriors pressed in the second half, getting Doyle’s goal with 9:49 to play. Davignon sealed the win with a tally in the 74:00 minute on a counter.

"We played well in the field," said Wahconah coach John Kovacs. "We played a nice passing game in the second half. Just playing catch up took a lot out of us."

Chris Dapson made seven saves for the Warriors.

Graziano scored twice in the first half before assisting on two second-half tallies. Heamon Williams earned the shutout with seven saves.

"The big thing about John is he can distribute the ball as well as he can shoot," said Lee coach Matt Kollmer. "He does a good job of finding open men.

CHICOPEE -- John Pfister scored a hat trick for the Mounties, who led 3-1 at the half and got three saves each from Cal Filson and Alejandro Viquez-Salas.

"We played on a pretty narrow field, so most of the opportunities [Pfister] got were on balls coming in from the flank," Greylock coach Blair Dils said. "It was really that penetrating pass first that led directly to the goal or led to the cross that led to the goal."
