The attorney for one of the defendants is currently in trial in Springfield and was unable to make the scheduled hearing on Monday to set dates in the triple murder case.
Adam Lee Hall, 35, of Peru -- an alleged member of the Hells Angels -- David Chalue, 45, of North Adams, and Caius Veiovis, 32, of Pittsfield, are accused of kidnapping and killing Pittsfield residents David Glasser, Edward Frampton and Robert Chadwell in August 2011.
A fourth man, David Casey, 64, of Canaan, N.Y., allegedly helped bury the victim's remains and was charged as an accessory.
All four men have pleaded not guilty to their charges and remain in jail.
Chalue's attorney, Donald W. Frank, is in Hampden Superior Court this week in the middle of a murder trial there and was unable to make the hearing in Pittsfield.
The triple murder case has seen a number of fits and starts over the course of more than a year with three attorneys stepping down for various reasons and Berkshire District Attorney David F. Capeless reindicting the defendants.
