LENOX -- Lenox came out flat in the third quarter against St. Mary's on Wednesday night.
But a nearly night at the free throw line and strong rebounding helped the Millionaires to a 65-57 win. Lenox scored a game-high 22 points in the final period to bring home the win.
Ben Herrick had 16 points for the hosts while Jared Tuttle added 15. Tuttle had 10 rebounds and four blocks while Andrew Vickery had 12 rebounds to go with his eight points. It was enough to offset 29 points from Justin Crosby of St. Mary's. The Millionaires made 15 of their 16 foul shots.
"Our rebounding in the second half and our foul shooting was huge for us," said Lenox coach Scott Sibley.
Wahconah 55, Mount Anthony 46
BENNINGTON, Vt. -- The Warriors got three players in double figures and scored 20 points in the fourth to hold off the Patriots.
Collin Parrot had 17 points while Kevin Boino added 16. Marco Anastasio had 10 points for Wahconah.
"Real good hustle, tough defense," said Warriors coach Ed Ladley. "Percentage shooting was excellent, in the first half especially. ... The big key, Kevin Boino made eight in a row free throws to seal the show."
Wahconah had nine 3-pointers, including five from Parrott while the hosts knocked down seven 3s.
Lenox 67, St. Mary's 7
LENOX -- The Millionaires didn't allow more than two points in any quarter in cruising to the win.
Liz Mitts had 16 points while Hayden Zinchuk added 10.
McCann 37, St. Joe's 29
PITTSFIELD -- St. Joe's led this one until the Hornets exploded for 19 points in the fourth quarter to pull away for the victory.
Emijah Barton had eight points to lead McCann while Virginia Goggins led the Crusaders with 11.
St. Joe's coach Jack Quinn said his team was playing without two starters, which made it tough.
"We ran out of gas," Quinn said. "They've got kind of a big, physical team. They wore us down."
