Residents of Dalton are reminded that a $50 per dog Failure to License fine will be issued to owners of dogs that remain unlicensed as of April 1 with an additional $50 per dog fine to owners who have not provided current proof of rabies certificates to the town. These fine increases are mandated under new state animal control legislation.
