St. Joe class of ‘62 plans 50th reunion
The St. Joseph High School class of 1962 will hold its 50th reunion on Saturday, July 14, at Mazzeo's Ris torante on South Street.

Tennis event honors
the late Audie Furgal
The Audie Furgal Tennis Classic will be held Saturday at Berkshire West Athletic Club, Dan Fox Drive.
Funds raised will benefit the Lee Regional Visiting Nurse Association, whose name was recently changed to Porchlight VNA/Home Care, and the Lee Com munity Tennis Association.
Furgal was a long-time member of the Lee CTA. She received the services of the Lee Regional VNA during her illness, including the daily transmission of her "vitals" via a telemonitoring machine. Therefore, 75 percent of the net profits will be used to purchase updated telemonitoring machines with 25 percent supporting the Lee CTA's Junior Tennis Program.
The event will feature a full day of activities beginning with morning divisional round robin matches held at a number of tennis courts in the Berkshires. There is still room for players ages 18 and up at most levels.
There will be a noon luncheon, silent and live auctions, division playoffs and other BWAC activities with the event scheduled to conclude at 3 p.m.

North Adams Regional Hospital's Medical Imaging Department will hold a program at noon on Friday at the Mary Spitzer Center, 116 Ashland St.
The discussion will include osteoporosis, breast cancer, and life-saving screening tests. A pizza lunch and healthy snacks will be served.
