PITTSFIELD -- The Catholic Schools of Pittsfield will honor numerous St. Joseph Central High School alumni tonight at its third annual fundraising gala, "An Evening with the Stars."
The event recognizes alumni who have made significant contributions in the classroom, on athletic fields and in their communities, and who have carried forward the legacy, teachings and values of St. Joe’s into their personal and professional careers, said William C. Jones, chairman of the Catholic Schools of Pittsfield.
The Hall of Fame inductees include:
-- John Bradley, Class of 1978: Bradley is responsible for all aspects of human resources at UBS and provides support globally to businesses whose employee base comprises approximately 65,000 staff.
-- Michael Haley, Class of 1960: Haley has worked on more than 60 feature films and 18 movies for television in roles such as assistant director, producer and choreographer.
-- Sheila Keator, Class of 1955: Keator is the the founder of Keator Group LLC, who devotes her time to helping clients define and achieve business and investment objectives.
-- Paul E. Perachi, Class of 1957: Perachi is the retired judge of the Berkshire Juvenile Court, teacher and coach.
-- Regina Larkin Petron, Class of 1973: Larkin is a dancer, choreographer, master teacher and arts administrator.
-- James Ruberto, Class of 1964: Ruberto is a retired four-term mayor of Pittsfield.
-- Edmund Wary, Class of 1963: A Bronze Star and Purple Heart veteran of the Vietnam War, Wary lives in Honolulu where he has become one of the city’s premier restaurateurs
-- Kathryn Flanagan, SSJ: Sister Flanagan served as St. Joseph Central High School’s principal for 13 years.
