The Nutrition Center will bring its popular Food Adventures program to The Mount this summer. The week-long, hands-on cooking series is designed especially for school-age kids.
Children will learn basic cooking skills and nutrition concepts while focusing on ideas that were near and dear to Edith Wharton’s heart. Guest appearances by local award-winning chefs will highlight farm-to-table fare and cooking with gusto.
Session one will take place from 9 a. m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 30 to July 3. The cost is $200 (members); $215 (non-members).
Session two will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 7 to 11. The cost is $250 (members); $275 (non-members).
Enrollment deadline for both sessions is June 22.
