Skinner, New England’s leading house for auctions and appraisals with sales that reach an international clientele, returns for its second annual Appraisal Day in Berkshire County from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum, 104 Walker St.
The Mansion closes at noon for regular tours with the last tour at 11 a.m.
Cosponsored by the Congregation Knesset Israel and Ventfort Hall Association, the Skinner Appraisal Day at the mansion will give verbal appraisals by the firm’s top experts in silver, jewelry, crystal, porcelain and small valuables. They will also appraise larger items presented in photographs.
Located in Boston and Marlborough, Skinner has been seen on "Antiques Roadshow."
The Appraisal Day admittance fee of $25 covers admission to the museum, the appraisal of one item and a dessert reception. Each additional item is $10. A cash wine bar will also be offered.
