Actress Sally Mummey will appear in a first-person portrayal of Mary Todd Lincoln: An Unconventional Woman at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum, 104 Walker St. A Victorian tea will follow the performance.
As a living historian and wearing authentically reproduced clothing of the 1860s, Mummey will illuminate the complicated contrasts of one of America’s most famous and historically significant First Ladies.
Tickets are $25 per person with advance reservation; $30 day of, students $10. Reservations are highly recommended as seating is limited.
