Home Instead Senior Care, Sweet Brook of Williamstown, and Gentiva Home Health have teamed up to provide a free Dash N’ Dine for Stroke Awareness event from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at Sweet Brook of Williamstown, 1561 Cold Spring Road.

Presenters from Home Instead Senior Care, Village Ambulance, Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, Sweet Brook, and Gentiva will discuss the Stroke Chain of Survival, from recognizing stroke symptoms and making the decision to call 911, through acute hospital care, rehabilitation and home care, and prevention of stroke.

Those who attend will receive two complimentary dinners to go.
