Christine D. Hollingworth of North Charleston, S.C., daughter of Jean and Walter Hollingworth of 69 Brunell Ave., Lenox, graduated May 16 with a doctor of physical therapy degree from the College of Health Professions.

Hollingworth plans to stay in Charleston where she would like to practice physical therapy with veterans and children.

She graduated from Bay Path College in Longmeadow in 2010 with a bachelor of science degree cum laude and from Lenox Memorial High School in 2006 where she was a member of the National Honor Society.

Sophia Romeu of Lenox, graduated magna cum laude on May 18 with a bachelor's degree.

Romeu, a humanities major, received the Director's Award for the student who exemplifies general excellence in the humanities.

While at Providence College, she was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Student Congress, Senior Giving Committee, board of Multi-cultural Student Activities, and the peer mentoring program.

This summer, she is serving as an assistant for development of special events at Tanglewood (part of Boston Symphony Orchestra).

Briell M. Dzierga, daughter of Rosey and Steve Dzierga of Adams, graduated summa cum laude on May 18 with a bachelor of science degree in pre-veterinarian science and a minor in biology. She was valedictorian of her class. Dzierga has accepted the position at the college of Ohio State University to pursue a degree veterinarian medicine.
