The NorShaft Lions will be serving over 20 different types of chili at the eighth annual Chili Fest from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, in the Community Room of St. John the Baptist Church on Houghton Street.
The event is part of the North Bennington Winter Festival.
The new location is down from the train station where the ice carving competition will be held. The wagon ride from the Penguin Plunge will bring attendees to the church.
Featured will be white bean chicken chili, chocolate chili, vegan chili, sausage chili, and the traditional mild, medium and hot chili.
Proceeds from this event will help fund the Lions' annual scholarship program which provides five $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors.
