Alana Chernila, blogger and cookbook author, will demonstrate how to make lemon curd at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Berkshire Athenaeum, 1 Wendell Ave. Sampling will follow.

In her blog, "Eating from the Ground Up," Chernila writes about food and family, sharing photos, recipes, and reminiscences. She has written two cookbooks and with Margaret Roach, she offers cooking classes in Copake, N.Y.

Attendees of this program will be eligible for BCC Forum Credits.
