Week five of winter Sunday afternoons at the Ramsdell Library on Feb. 7 will highlight the suffragette movement in the United States and Britain.

The work of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth, Louisa May Alcott, Alice Paul, and others is explored through an ongoing book and film display.

A free screening of the 2015 feature film "Suffragette" (PG13) will begin at 2 p.m. Housatonic artist Pat Frik will lead a hands-on workshop on creating art from paint chips from 1 to 2 p.m.

The library at 1087 Main St., Housatonic, will be open for business with the Sunday papers, crossword, coffee, snacks, and craft projects for kids available all afternoon.

Sponsored by the Trustees and Friends of the Great Barrington Libraries, the winter Sundays at Ramsdell Library pilot program runs through March 20.
