The Hoffmann Bird Club of Berkshire County announces a free birding program to be held at 7 p.m. Monday, March 7, at Berkshire Life Insurance Company, 700 South St.
"The Secondary Market for Bird Feathers: What Happens When Birds Don't Want Them Anymore?" will be presented by Daniel Shustack, environmental studies faculty, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
This talk will consider the many uses of feathers beyond their functions as bird plumages.
The program is open to the public.
