Lenox's first Fix-It Fair is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at the Lenox Community Center.

Volunteers with repair skills are needed to lend a hand, from those who can repair electrical or mechanical goods to woodworkers, toy and bike fixers, menders and sewers.

Trouble-shooters, coordinators, all-around helpers, cookie bakers, and coffee makers are needed as well.

Residents may bring in items in need of repair, free of charge. If possible, call Ellen Jacobson at 413-441-0686 with the type of item being brought to the event.

To volunteer, call Kate McNulty-Vaughan at 413-637-0233.
