Colonial Carriage & Driving Society and Orleton Farm announce annual Pleasure Driving Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 9, through Sunday, June 12, at Orleton Farm, 31 Prospect Hill Road.
The event is one of the largest shows of its kind, hosting over 100 entrants in 2015.
Competitors range in age from teen to senior; horses may be mini to draft sized, with more than a dozen breeds represented; modern and restored, antique carriages are of many types, sizes and styles.
Carriage drivers and their equine partners compete against other drivers for ribbons and trophies.
Admission is free on Thursday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday admission is $10, children under 5 are free.
