George Wheeler, director of Conservation at Columbia University and a research scholar at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will present "After the Fall: The Conservation of Tullio Lombardo's "Adam" at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Sandisfield Arts Center, 5 Hammertown Road.

The lecture will explore the reconstruction of the 1495 sculpture, which shattered following the collapse of its wooden base at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2002.
