"From Shore to Shore, the 500-million-year Geologic History of Stone Hill," a moderate hike open to all ages, will take place at the Clark Art Institute at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10.
Williams College Geosciences Professor Bud Wobus leads the travel in geologic time, revealing to hikers the story of Stone Hill and its landscape.
Hikers should meet at the entrance to the Lunder Center at Stone Hill at 10:30 a.m. and wear shoes appropriate for hiking varied terrain. The hike is free with paid admission.
The hike is part of an ongoing series related to the Clark's summer exhibition, "Sensing Place: Reflecting on Stone Hill," on view through Oct. 10.
