GREAT BARRINGTON -- Berkshire International Film Festival will present its first-ever gala on Aug. 29, in celebration of the 10th anniversary season May 28 to 31, 2015 in Great Barrington and Pittsfield.
The gala begins at 6 p.m. in the airport hangar at Great Barrington Airport. The event will honor Gov. Deval and first lady Diane Patrick for their support of the Berkshire arts and community.
Dinner will be catered by MAX Ultimate Food. Dance music will be provided by the Rhythm Dogs from New York. Humorist and author Roy Blount, Jr., will be guest speaker and a special BIFF video produced by Doug Trumbull will be unveiled.
A live auction will present four auction items including a trip to le Sereno on St. Barth's; a trip to Ecuador to Hacienda Cusin and Casa Gengotena; a luxurious New York City weekend; and a BIFF Producer package. The gala is chaired by Jacqueline and Al Togut, and co-chaired by Dan Mathieu and Tom Potter, Kate and Hans Morris and Annie Selke and Mark Dove.
