LENOX — The Cantilena Chamber Choir will present "Christmas at Trinity" 3 p.m. on Sunday at Trinity Church, 88 Walker St.
The performance will feature selections from the Christmas Oratorio by J.S. Bach; music for Christmas by Stockbridge composer David Anderegg; and traditional carols.
Special guests for this concert are the Berkshire Children's Chorus and their director Julie Bickford. Together with the Cantilena Chamber Choir they will perform new carols by Paul Mealor and Paul Halley.
Now in its 12th season, Cantilena Chamber Choir has received a Peers grant award from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and is a two-time recipient of the Choral Arts New England's Alfred Nash Patterson Award for unique programming.
Andrea Goodman, founder and director of the choir, also serves as music director for the annual summer Saratoga Choral Festival in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Now in its 25th season, the Berkshire Children's Chorus has a long history of performances on local, national, and international stages. Berkshire Children's Chorus also has collaborated with local music organizations such as the Berkshire Opera Company, the Berkshire Choral Festival, the Berkshire Bach Society, and the Cantilena Chamber Choir.
In 2007, the choruses traveled to Boston to perform at the inauguration of Gov. Deval Patrick.
Children will be admitted free to the concert.

This performance is part of the Making Spirits Bright weekend series of special events in Lenox sponsored by the Lenox Merchants Association to include street caroling, gingerbread house making and more.
