NEW LEBANON, N.Y. >> Flutist Eugenia Zukerman, the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio and pianist-composer Stephen Hough are among the artists scheduled to perform this summer at Tannery Pond Concerts.
Zukerman is scheduled to perform at 8 p.m. on June 25 with the Jasper Quartet in a program that includes Beethoven's Quartet in B-flat Major, Op. 18, No. 6; Foote's "A Night Piece"; Ginastera's Impresiones de la Puna; and Debussy's Quartet in G minor, Op. 10.
Hough, who performed Wednesday evening at Williams College's Chapin Hall, returns to the region at 8 p.m. July 16 in a program that includes one of his own compositions, Sonata III (Trinitas), and works by Schubert (Sonata in A minor, D. 784, No. 14), Franck (Prelude, Choral et Fugue), Liszt (Valse oubliée Nos. 1 and 2) and List (Transcendental Etudes, Nos. 10 and 11).
The Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio kicks off the season at 6 p.m. on May 28 playing Beethoven's Trio in B-flat major, Op. 11; Brahms' Trio in C major, Op. 87; and Mendelssohn's Trio in C minor, Op. 66, No. 2.
All concerts are in the Tannery on the grounds of Mount Lebanon Shaker Village and Darrow School, 110 Darrow Road, off Route 20.
In announcing 2016's artists and programs Christian Steiner, Tannery Pond Concerts' founder and artistic director, said in a news release "2016 will be a season to remember. We will be presenting some of the finest artists in Tannery's 26-year history."
• The Miro Quartet, 8 p.m., Aug. 6 — Brahms' Quartet in C minor, Op. 51 No. 1 and Beethoven's Quartet Op. 130, No. 13 original version with Grosse Fuge (Op. 133).
• St. Lawrence String Quartet, 8 p.m., Aug. 27 — Haydn's Quartet in G minor, Op. 20, No. 3; Adams' Second Quartet (which was composed for the SLSQ); Golijov's "Qohelet" (also composed for the SLSQ); and Haydn's Quartet in C-major, Op. 20, No. 2.
The season concludes 6 p.m, Sept. 17 at with violinist Axel Strauss and pianist Ilya Poletaev — joined by Yo Yo Ma Silk Road Project cellist Yegor Dyachkov — playing Beethoven's Trio in E-flat major, Op. 70, No. 2; Fauré's Trio in D minor, Op. 120; and Tanayev's Trio in D major, Op. 22.
