WASHINGTON -- The annual town meeting, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 17.

The delay occurred because the town meeting warrant was not posted in a timely manner, Selectman James Huebner said.

The rescheduled meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in Town Hall, 8 Summit Hill Road.

The annual town elections are will take place on Saturday, May 19.
