SHEFFIELD — Mount Everett Regional School seniors Faren Worthington, Tyler Ferrusi and Cayla Strattman have earned highest honors in the class of 2009.

Worthington and Ferrusi will share the honor of valedictorian and Strattman has the honor of salutatorian. The graduation will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Tanglewood in Lenox.

Worthington is the daughter of Gary and Nancy Worthington of Southfield. In addition to being treasurer of the National Honor Society, she is a member of the tennis team, Students Against Destructive Decisions, 4-H, and the Fall Festival of Shakespeare.

She will attend Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash.

Ferrusi, son of Paul and Kim Ferrusi of Ashley Falls, is a member of the cross-country team, the student council, Appalachian Mountain Club and the National Honor Society.

He will attend Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y.

Strattman, daughter of Larry and Julianna Strattman of Ashley Falls, is a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions, Big Brother, Big Sister, and the yearbook committee.

She will attend Mount Ida College in Newton.
